How to get to the port of Kiel
To reach Kiel port from other German cities by car, take the A7 north, towards Kiel and merge onto the A215, then follow signs for the terminal. Each passenger terminal has a car park, with unreserved parking. Receive a discount on the fare upon presentation of your ferry ticket. Arriving into Kiel by train, the central railway station is connected to the port area by bus number 410, but it’s also possible to reach the port on foot. There are bus connections from the city centre to the terminals as well as taxis. Hamburg international airport is around 77 km away along the A7 towards Kiel, turn onto Schuetzenwall and follow the signs for the port. Alternatively, travel by train.
