How do I book a ferry?

To book a ferry trip, simply browse our website for the route you are interested in, then follow the links to the booking page, alternatively you can access the booking form directly from here: https://booking.netferry.com

Can I change my booking?

Yes, passengers who want to change or cancel their ticket for any reason can use their reserved area or send an email to info@netferry.com, so we can validate the cancellation and apply any charges from the shipping company, plus an additional charge of 25.00 euros. The booking fees and insurance are never refundable.

Any changes made to the booking will incur a charge of 25.00 euros, plus any charges or difference in price. Ticket changes can only be requested by email (info@netferry.com). Refunds will be made within 20 working days from the date of the refund request. There are no refunds for reservations on special offers or early booking.

What shall I do in case of a problem?

By purchasing a maritime ticket, a transport contract is established between the shipping company (carrier) and the passenger. These conditions can be viewed on our website www.netferry.com . The person who assumes the obligation to transport is therefore the carrier. NetFerry SRL operates as a travel agency, and is therefore an intermediary between the customer and the carrier. In the case of incorrect, total or partial non-fulfillment of the transport service, the liability lies solely with the carrier. No responsibility can be attributed to NetFerry SRL. Here are some important conditions common to all companies:

TIMETABLES and RATES: The shipping companies are committed to doing their best to respect the schedules, fares, itineraries as scheduled. However, at any time and without prior notice, they have the right to change departure times, itineraries and add a surcharge to the official rates for a fuel adjustment, which can be collected directly at the boarding office on the day of departure or by the travel agency during the booking. The arrival time also indicates entry into the port and not the actual docking of the ship to the quay.

NETFERRY SRL Reservation Center Ferries, as an intermediary, is not responsible for damage caused by any changes mentioned above. The departure and arrival times are always indicated in the local time.

Where can I find the directions to reach my port of embarkation?

On our website, we have pages dedicated to each port of embarkation and arrival. On these pages you can find a box dedicated to port information and a Google Maps link to provide you with directions.

How does the booking system work?

The online booking system allows you to make reservations in real time. Just follow these simple steps:

PHASE 1: select your preferred itinerary, then indicate the number of passengers and vehicles, choose from a variety of seating and cabin options and grab any special offers!

PHASE 2: enter passenger names and the contact details for the booking,

STEP 3: find out the price

STEP 4: accept our terms and conditions and consent to privacy.

Then click BOOK NOW, and you will confirm the booking by making a paying by credit or debit card (your card number, expiry date, cvv and name of card holder will be requested to make the payment) .Then your reservation request will be processed within 24hrs, subject to availability. Before confirming, please read the general conditions of travel. Where do I find the opening hours for the port offices?

We do not have the opening hours for all of the port offices as they vary depending on time of year, however port offices generally open around 2 hours before ferry departures. For more information check out our port pages where you can find telephone numbers for the port authorities and directions.

How is the price of the ticket calculated?

The price of each ticket is made up of different components:

  • Base fee per passenger
  • Port taxes, ISPS, and fees per passenger
  • Accommodation or seating choice
  • Vehicle Tariff
  • Animal fee
  • Discount

The ticket price is calculated according to the options you choose when booking. For example accommodation or seating on-board ranges from seats on deck, to private cabins. The price varies depending upon whether you bring a vehicle and vehicle type. You can also take advantage of any discounts available, for example early booking discounts generally require ticket confirmation before the end of May.

Where can I find the ferry departure and arrival times?

You can find out the arrival and departure times and the duration of the journey for each route on our website. Please be aware that these times can be subject to change due to unforeseen weather conditions. You can also find out the frequency of ferries on each route on our site, they are generally daily or weekly. Our booking system can provide you with the most up to date departure and arrival times, as we keep it updated with real time information from the shipping companies.

Why do other ferry booking websites provide different information to NetFerry?

The website you visited may not be constantly updated or there could have been last-minute changes that are not yet visible online.
We always advise you to consult our booking system because we always updating information in real time to provide you with the most up to date and accurate information.

Can I use my camper van during the journey?

Some companies offer an on-board camper service for camper vans. Which means that you pay the basic fare for deck space + the vehicle fare. The vehicle will then be parked on the deck in an area designated to camper vans. Once parked, you will then have access to it throughout the crossing.
This service normally only runs from April 1st to October 31st and only on some sea routes.
You can find out if this service is available on your route in the 'routes' section.
Due to limited availability, NetFerry advises you to book this service well in advance.

How do group facilities work?

A group is defined as over 15 foot passengers or with a bus in tow (travel with other vehicles is subject to approval) this permits the group to access discounted rates.

Reservations for passengers carrying goods for sale follow an alternative reservation procedure than normal passengers.
