The issuance of the ticket for the pet is mandatory and requires the registration of the following information: pet passport or health book number, category (e.g., companion, therapy, assistance), size (large > 10 kg or small <= 10 kg), and onboard location (in cabin, in kennel, or on deck).

Travel companions must carry the pet’s health book and, for EU residents, the pet passport. They must follow boarding procedures and are responsible for the animal’s care, safety, and hygiene during the journey. For dogs, cats, and ferrets, a rabies vaccination certificate is mandatory. Each passenger may travel with a maximum of 5 pets, all vaccinated and with a health book.
