Liberty Lines operates in the Mediterranean, providing sea connections between the islands in the southern Italian archipelagos. The company was founded in 1993 by a Neapolitan shipowner, who began with connections from Trapani and Naples to Ustica, today they offer a widespread service linking the Aeolian Islands, Egadi, Pelagie, Ustica and Pantelleria.

The Liberty Lines fleet consists of hydrofoils, catamarans and single hulls, which are all quality vehicles that comply with safety and environmental standards, as per ISO certification. Liberty Lines currently handles more than 3 million passengers every year and covers more than 30 airports in Italy and has the largest number of fast vehicles in the world.

Baggage

Luggage of up to 60X40X20 (cm) is included in the ticket price. For additional or extra large baggage passengers must obtain the appropriate ticket. Children are not entitled to baggage. Pushchairs can be brought onboard for free.

Pets

To travel with small pets, appropriate carriers must be used. Medium or large dogs must be on a leash, with a health certificate and muzzle, in accordance with the Pet Transport Conditions. Unless otherwise specified by law, the transportation of dogs, cats, and other small animals accompanying passengers is allowed, provided they adhere to the regulations and designated areas. An exception is made for guide dogs for the blind. Pet care is the responsibility of the owners, and transport is regulated by health authorities.

Children from 0 to 3 years of age travel free but will not be designated an individual seat or accommodation.
