The port of Ravenna is in Emilia Romagna and is one of the most important ports for freight traffic in the Adriatic. It is the only European port with a pier that ends more than 2 km from the mainland. The port was opened in the 1970s and today it is the most important trading port in Italy, with markets based in the eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
Transport networks make the port of Ravenna easily accessible by car along the A14 motorway, taking the Ravenna exit. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the signs for Ravenna Porto, where you will find a roundabout take the port exit, continue following the signs for Porto Corsini.
By train you get to the Ravenna train station which is connected to the port by bus number 90.
