Rab has sea routes with Cesenatico and Pesaro (Italy). The sea crossing between Rab and any other destination is temporarily not in operation by sailing companies in partnership with NetFerry.
The port of Rab, in Croatia, provides connections to neighboring towns. The port is dominated by the Great Tower set within the ancient walls, which in the past acted as a lookout. There are various services around the port such as cafes and restaurants, apartments for rent and hotels. Going up the main road you reach the city center which is worth a visit.
How to reach the port of Rab
By plane, from Rijeka airport, you must make a stop on the island of Krk and then from there take a ferry to Rab. From the port of Rab it is possible to move to other places on the island by bus, leaving from close to the port. Rab is about two and a half hours from Zadar, along the E65 road heading north, when you reach the port the ferry that takes just under half an hour. The island is about 230 kilometers from Zagreb, from here travel along the E71 to the coast, and then embark for Rab.
